Updated Risk Assessment

18th June 2020

DSA Electrical continues to adapt to the frequently changing guidance as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Our priority continues to be the safety of our team and our clients. Work is continuing but only where our engineers can adhere to social distancing and hygiene guidelines. Our engineers are equipped with sanitising hand gel, appropriate PPE and do not use public transport to commute to work.

When working on commercial sites, we ask our engineers to pay special attention to social distancing and hygiene both for themselves and their tools. Engineers work in fixed teams were practicable to reduce the risk of transmission.

When working in other people’s homes, we have detailed measures in place to ensure we follow the Government’s guidance at all times. We have a booking script or letter to set everything out in advance and our engineers complete a detailed checklist before they enter anyone’s home.

Our office is staffed with a skeleton staff, with the remainder of the office team either working from home or on furlough. To date we have not had a single confirmed case of coronavirus amongst our staff.

DSA Electrical is nothing more than our people and our aim is to weather the storm together so we can continue working to keep our clients and their customers electrically safe. We wish all our clients and suppliers well during this difficult time. A copy of our latest risk assessment can be found here.
