With extensions to the front, rear and side of the property, the full refurbishment of the warehouse, including a repositioning of the mains supply, was required to take place while still maintaining business operations. The complication of plant and forklifts on site at all times added an additional Health and Safety challenge to a complex project. DSA Electrical was required to work to specific deadline stages according to the client’s programme.
Close communication with the client and main contractor was critical to ensuring the programme ran according to plan. Careful co-ordination was required to arrange the changeover of electrical supply in order to maintain business continuity. DSA Electrical successfully completed the design and build of the entire electrical installation, including a mechanical package, electrical works and installation of fire alarms, CCTV, door access and intruder alarms.
The project was successfully completed on time and budget without disruption to business operations. Jellycat’s warehouse now offers a comfortable, spacious and fit for purpose working environment for staff and visitors alike.
