The original emergency lighting central battery system comprised of stand-alone lead acid batteries. These were housed in a dedicated room. Due to another project which would involve relocating the complete Cliffs Pavilion main distribution panel, the central battery system room had to be relocated to a smaller area. The emergency lighting system had to remain operational throughout the project.
DSA Electrical replaced the central battery system using smaller, more efficient, compact batteries. We liaised with the central battery system manufacturer for commissioning. The emergency lighting remained operational at all times.
The room in the Cliffs Pavilion now has enough space to accommodate the switch gear and the popular entertainment venue’s emergency lighting is now future proof for the foreseeable future.
