Site Supervisor

Hours: 8am – 5pm

Job Description:

DSA Electrical is a team of highly qualified, accredited and experienced industry professionals, celebrating over 25 years of electrical contracting.

A Site Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring that the day-to-day contracts run smoothly on all of our sites. The main responsibilities include overseeing electricians on site and feeding back to our Contracts Managers and Compliance Team with regards to the daily work, quality and projects in hand. Developing the relationship between the Company and the client and taking responsibility for being a vital link between the office and our sites.

 Main duties will include:

  • Carry out supervision on site and document visits accordingly
  • Ensure technical, quality, environmental and safety standards met on site
  • Raise issues found with the engineers for remedial action and follow up
  • Coach, train and develop the skills and knowledge of our engineers
  • Clear queries raised by Qualified Supervisors on certificates
  • Ensure engineers are using correct certificate templates to achieve quality standard
  • Sign off certificates and make building control notifications if assessed as Qualified Supervisor

Skills required:

  • Fully qualified electrician with at least 5 years qualified experience
  • Well-presented and professional manner
  • Ability to exercise discretion and judgement
  • Strong prioritising skills and confident working to deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good attention to detail
  • Full UK driving license
  • Ability to manage health and safety on site
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred, covering all areas of work i.e. domestic, commercial and industrial
  • Existing or previous Qualified Supervisor preferable

Job Description:

DSA Electrical is a team of highly qualified, accredited and experienced industry professionals, celebrating over 25 years of electrical contracting.

We are always on the lookout for fully qualified electricians with good experience in all electrical work from social housing to commercial/industrial.

You must be able to accurately record site information and test results using electronic software, and have experience of completing EICRs. We pride ourselves on our standard of work, so we would expect you to do the same.

Skills Required:

  • 18th Edition Qualification and ECS cards are essential.
  • Testing and Installation experience is essential.
  • 2391 or 2394/5 qualified is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, coupled with a strong work ethic and a polite attitude is essential.
  • You must have good general IT skills.
  • Appointment is subject to a basic level DBS disclosure and references.
  • Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence is essential.
