Confined spaces

Our highly skilled engineers are trained and experienced in carrying out work in confined spaces, such as underground ducts.

Finding Solutions

A confined space can be defined as any space of an enclosed nature where there is a risk of death or serious injury from hazardous substances or dangerous conditions.
We can provide all the necessary equipment enabling us to manage the job safely from start to finish. Where possible, we always seek to offer an alternative, better value solution. However, where this work is essential, our engineers are appropriately trained and experienced.

Case Study: Broomfield Hospital

In 2015, Mid Essex Hospital Services NHS Trust, contracted DSA Electrical to undertake a variety of works at Broomfield Hospital. DSA Electrical was contracted to install 110V task lighting, fire alarm cabling and street lighting around the hospital estate. Much of the cabling was situated in underground ducts with entry points around the hospital in various locations. This made an ordinarily straightforward installation more complicated due to the need to work in confined spaces.  Broomfield Hospital Case Studies
