DSA Electrical Business Update

30th March 2020

With the current Coronavirus situation continuing, DSA Electrical has made some changes to our business operations to adapt to the current crisis.

DSA Electrical’s priority continues to be the safety of our team and our clients. With this in mind, and in adherence to the current Government guidelines, our domestic and planned maintenance and site-based work has now paused. Some other commercial site work is continuing but only where our engineers can adhere to strict social distancing guidelines – maintaining 2m distance on site from other workers. Our engineers are equipped with sanitising hand gel and are familiar with the correct hand washing protocol. Our engineers do not use public transport to commute to work and are not sharing vehicles.

Given that our workload has dramatically reduced we are anxious to protect and support our team during this uncertain time. We are not making any redundancies and are furloughing staff as their work naturally halts, paying them 2 weeks full pay to ease the transition to receiving 80% of their usual salary. We are fortunate to be able to offer interest free loans to employees and subcontractors to help see them through this challenging and uncertain period. DSA Electrical is nothing more than our people and our aim is to weather the storm together so we can eventually continue working to keep our clients and their customers electrically safe. We wish all our clients and suppliers well during this difficult time.
