Nightingale Hammerson contracted DSA Electrical to undertake the facility’s five year electrical testing. The operation needed to be conducted on a floor by floor basis, as per the client’s programme. Given the residential healthcare environment with rooms occupied by elderly people with a variety of care needs, this presented particular challenges around safeguarding and access.
Bespoke RAMS were created to accommodate the needs of residents and staff. With careful liaison and planning between DSA Electrical’s team and the client’s care team, our highly experienced, DBS checked engineers, were able to successfully complete the five year inspection and test of the property with minimal disruption or distress to residents and staff.
Once the testing was completed, DSA Electrical was able to undertake the remedial works identified and the property was deemed satisfactory and electrically safe for another 5 years of continual use.
